DIERKS, Ark.—Billy Joe Hill, 73, of Dierks died Sunday, July 6, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Hill was born May 1, 1935, in Burg, Ark.

Survivors include his wife, Edith Pinkerton Hill; two daughters, Brenda Dunlap and Teresa Jester of New Hope, Ark.; two sons, Joe Hill and Jeffery Hill of New Hope; one brother, Dillard Hill of Dierks; three sisters, Betty Brock and Lois Jean White of Dierks and Kathyleen Lowrey of Texarkana; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bissell Chapel Church with the Rev. Kenny Fant and Brian Hill officiating. Burial will be in Bissell Chapel Cemetery under direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
