IDABEL, Okla.—Bonnie Garrett, 77, of Idabel died Wednesday, July 2, 2008.

Mrs. Garrett was born Aug. 10, 1930, in Mason City, Iowa. She was an artist and writer, owned and operated several businesses and a member of Hochatown Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by one son, Steven Shane Garrett; and one grandson, Todd Michael Garrett.

Survivors include her husband, Lloyd Garrett of Idabel; one son, Lloyd Michael Garrett of Hot Springs, Ark.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Constance and Craig McGaffin of Idabel and Rebecca and Jim Stults of Broken Bow, Okla.; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services were Sunday at Conley-White Funeral Home. Burial was in Hollycreek Cemetery.
