CLARKSVILLE, Texas—Milton Minter, 87, of Annona, Texas, died Saturday, July 5, 2008, in a local nursing home.

Mr. Minter was born July 19, 1920, in Red River County, Texas. He was a retired rancher and was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Minter.

Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Bill and Gail Minter of Clarksville and Mickey and Judy Minter and Rickey Minter of Annona; two sisters, Mureline Cheyne of Boxelder, Texas, and Ruby Jean Ogletree of Farmers Branch, Texas; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Services will be 1 p.m. today at Salem Baptist Church, Boxelder, with the Rev. James Brown officiating. Burial will be in Boxelder Cemetery under direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
