IDABEL, Okla.—Ruth Kanick, 58, of Idabel died Friday, July 4, 2008, in Idabel.

Ms. Kanick was born Sept. 16, 1949, in Munich, Germany. She was a nurse at Oak Grove Nursing Home, a Sunday school teacher and a member of St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church.

Survivors include her mother, Ruth Clark of Idabel; two brothers, Edwin Clark of Idabel and Charlie Clark of Enterprise, Ala.; and a number of other relatives.

Mass was Monday at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church with Father Chet officiating. Burial was in Canfield Cemetery.
