Georganna Marie MacQueen Deahl, 94, of Texarkana died Monday, July 7, 2008.

Mrs. Deahl was born June 25, 1914, in Goshen, Ind. She was a homemaker and a member of Beech Street First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Deahl.

Survivors include six children, Purl Knight, Jo Ward, Pauline Green and Katherine Wheat of Texarkana, Dale Deahl of Louisiana and Tim Deahl of North Little Rock; one brother, Leon MacQueen of Texarkana; one sister, Pat Hayes of Brenham, Texas; 22 grandchildren; and a number of great- and great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Beech Street First Baptist Church with Dr. Tim Deahl and the Rev. Craig Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens under direction of East Funeral Home, Downtown.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
