NEW BOSTON, Texas—Jacklyn “Jackie” McDonald, 65, of New Boston died Sunday, July 6, 2008, at her home.

Mrs. McDonald was born Sept. 24, 1942, in Atlanta, Texas. She was retired from Red River Army Depot and a Baptist.

Survivors include four daughters, Sonya Guthrie of Van Alstyne, Texas, Troyla Ford of Midlothian, Texas, Brandy Mitchell of Old Boston, Texas, and Kelly Eaves of New Boston; one son, Mac Barnwell of Deer Park, Texas; one sister, Janice Rutledge of Queen City, Texas; one brother, Floyd Deloy of Atlanta; one special friend, Don McDonald; 20 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Bates-Rolf Funeral Home with Darrin Shaddix officiating. Burial will be in Ringwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
