Ray Ralson, 80, of Texarkana, Ark., died Monday, July 7, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mr. Ralson was born Aug. 12, 1927, in Rusk, Texas. He was a retired golf course superintendent and a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church, Rusk.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Potts Ralson of Texarkana; one son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Debbie Ralson of Conroe, Texas; one stepson and stepdaughter-in-law, Hursel and Tonya Harrison of Frankston, Texas; one brother, Les Ralson of Fort Myers, Fla.; one sister, Wanda Van Norm of Jacksonville, Fla.; and two stepgrandchildren, Shelby Harrison and Beth Harrison of Frankston.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkanas, with the Rev. Hal Haltom officiating.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
