BONNIE BARNETT

DE QUEEN, Ark.—Bonnie McFalls Barnett, 66, of Kansas City, Kan., died Sunday, July 6, 2008, in Kansas City.

Mrs. Barnett was born March 23, 1942, in Lockesburg, Ark. She was a teacher and a member of New Zion Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Barnett.

Survivors include one daughter, Andrea “Liz” Barnett Fisher of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one stepson, Horace G. Barnett of Atlanta, Ga.; her mother, Wyola McFalls of Lockesburg; two sisters, Carolyn Reynolds of Little Rock and Olivia McFalls Watson of Lee’s Summit, Mo.; two brothers, Oliver McFalls of Fayetteville, Ark., and Stevie Wayne McFalls of Foreman, Ark.; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at New Zion Baptist Church, Lockesburg, with the Rev. Randy Briggs officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery under direction of Chandler Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
