ESPIE SARGENT

STAMPS, Ark.—Espie Sargent, 98, of Magnolia, Ark., died Thursday, July 3, 2008, in Magnolia.

Mr. Sargent was born July 6, 1909, in Village, Ark.

Survivors include two children, Freddie Sargent Sr. of Magnolia and Mildred Hicks Jones of Lubbock, Texas; 40 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Mount Zion Baptist Church, Magnolia, with Dr. W.F. Colen officiating. Burial will be in West Cemetery under direction of Smith Funeral Home.

The body may be viewed noon to 2 p.m. Friday at the church.
