JACKY SMITH

CLARKSVILLE, Texas—Jacky Ray Smith, 52, of Clarksville died Sunday, July 6, 2008, in Ellis County, Texas, of injuries from a traffic accident.

Mr. Smith was born June 10, 1956, in Clarksville. He was a truck driver for Annona Manufacturing and a member of Pine Grove Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Joan Faulkner of Clarksville; one son, Bradley Ray Smith of Clarksville; one daughter and son-in-law, Molliejean and Brent Beers of Forney, Texas; his parents, Ray and Betty Smith of Detroit, Texas; his grandmother, Margaret Cavender of Detroit; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Ronnie Smith of Detroit and James and Sandra Smith of Pittsburg, Texas; two grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Clarksville Funeral Home with the Revs. Cindy Baker and Sam Rice officiating. Burial will be in Jamison Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
