NEW BOSTON, Texas—John Henry Inman, 77, of New Boston died Tuesday, July 8, 2008, in a Texarkana hospital. Mr. Inman was born June 10, 1931, in DeKalb, Texas. He was retired from Texas Department of Transportation, a member of Church of Christ and an Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Clara Inman of New Boston; two sons and daughters-in-law, Miles and Karen Inman and Scott and Tiffany Inman of New Boston; his mother-in-law, Essie Duke of New Boston; one grandchild, Tanner Inman of New Boston; one stepgranddaughter, Quittney Williams of New Boston; one stepgrandson and spouse, Justin and Tori Harkins of New Boston; and two stepgreat-granddaughters. Services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday at Church of Christ in New Boston with Norman Hooten and Billy Blakney officiating. Burial will be in Woodstock Cemetery under direction of Bates-Rolf Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Woodstock Cemetery Association, 509 Cannon St., New Boston, TX 75570.
