WILLIAM COCKRUM

NEW BOSTON, Texas—William “Curley” Cockrum, 84, of Leary, Texas, died Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Cockrum was born March 5, 1924, in Cooper, Texas. He was retired from Red River Army Depot, attended First Bikers Church of Texarkana and was a World War II Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Cockrum; and one son, Trask Cockrum.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Elwood and Jean Cockrum and Ricky and Brenda Cockrum of Leary; two sisters, Ann Fields of Hopkinsville, Ky., and Meade Armstrong of Coope...
