ATLANTA, Texas—Annie Lee Waddill, 91, of Douglassville, Texas, died Wednesday, July 9, 2008, in Douglassville.

Mrs. Waddill was born March 17, 1917, in Douglassville. She was a homemaker and a member of Douglassville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fleming T. Waddill.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, James Truitt and Sheila Waddill of Mount Pleasant, Texas; two daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda and Aubrey Allen of Douglassville and Dena and Jack Fail of Greensboro, N.C.; one brother-in-law, Harold Thomas of Texas City, Texas; three sisters-in-law, Iris Thompson and Maggie Myrick of Odessa, Texas, and Dot Waddill of Douglasville; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Douglassville Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Mayton and Robert Knox officiating. Burial will be in Douglassville Cemetery under direction of Hanner Funeral Service.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
