Clorrie D. Smith, 66, of Hooks, Texas, died Tuesday, July 1, 2008, in New Boston, Texas.

Ms. Smith was born Oct. 12, 1941, in Marshall, Texas. She was a member of Leary Chapel, Leary, Texas.

Survivors include two sons, Earl Smith Jr. of Dallas and Derrick Smith of New Boston; one daughter, LaShaunda Smith of Dallas; two brothers, Matthew Darty and James Darty of Marshall; three sisters, Lavern Traylor and Delphene Travino of Marshall and Annie Edwards of Longview, Texas; one special cousin, Pearlie Franklin of Hooks; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Haynes Mortuary with the Rev. Leslie Franklin officiating.
