David Marion Walker, 93, of Texarkana, Ark., died Monday, July 7, 2008, in a Siloam Springs, Ark., nursing home.

Mr. Walker was born May 24, 1915, in Bloomburg, Texas. He was retired from the Texarkana, Ark., School District, a member of Hickory Street Baptist Church and a World War II Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Walker.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Lori Walker of Gravette, Ark.; two grandsons and one granddaughter-in-law, Justin and Jessica Walker of Hampton, Va., and Paul Walker of Gravette; and one great-grandchild, Sydnee Walker of Hampton.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas, with the Rev. John Powell officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery.
