LINDEN, Texas—Gary Lee Fielder, 42, of Linden died Tuesday, July 8, 2008, in Linden.

Mr. Fielder was born Jan. 6, 1966, in Texarkana, Texas. He was a construction worker and a Baptist.

Survivors include five children, Stephanie Fielder, Andrew James, Taylor Matthews, MaKayla Fielder and Bailee Fielder; two brothers, Dennis Fielder of Baytown, Texas, and Michael Fielder of Elysian Fields, Texas; four sisters, Patricia Lee of Linden, Terry Lyons of Arkansas, Laura Latting of Baton Rouge and Rachel McGlothlin of Austin; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home with Leroy Howell officiating. Burial will be in Linden Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
