ATLANTA, Texas—Polly Tyler, 89, of Queen City, Texas, died Wednesday, July 9, 2008, in Queen City.

Mrs. Tyler was born May 22, 1919, in Avinger, Texas. She was a member of Mimms Chapel Church, Marion County, Texas. She was preceded in death by one stepson, Jonathan Tyler.

Survivors include two sons, the Rev. J.L. Eldridge of Wiley, Texas, and Robert Eldridge of Texarkana, Texas; three stepsons, Bobby Tyler, Cecil Tyler and Thomas Louis Tyler; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Mimms Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. J.L. Eldridge officiating. Burial will be under direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
