ATLANTA, Texas—C. Thomas Hunt, 71, of McLeod, Texas, died Friday, July 11, 2008, in Texarkana, Texas.

Mr. Hunt was born Oct. 12, 1936, in Vida, La. He was a follower of Jimmy Swaggert Ministries. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Adelia Frugé Hunt.

Survivors include three sons, Dale Edmond Hunt, Charles Thomas Hunt Jr., and James Norman Hunt of McLeod; three daughters, Tina Marie Boyter and Adelia Ann Vaughn of Rodessa, La., and Sharrie Riojas of McLeod; one brother, Gary Hunt of McLeod; one sister, Juanita Hale of Bloomburg, Texas; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Graveside services will be 7:30 a.m. today at Good Exchange Cemetery with the Rev. Chris Miller officiating. Burial will be under direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
