DE QUEEN, Ark.—June Harriett Burt, 87, of Horatio, Ark., died Thursday, July 10, 2008, in a Texarkana hospital.

Mrs. Burt was born June 27, 1921, in Magnet, Neb. She was a homemaker and a member of Good Sam’s Club, United Methodist Women’s Club and Horatio First Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Burt.

Survivors include one brother, John Henry Henkel of Lancaster, Penn.; and one nephew and spouse, Robert and Beverly Cochrane of Omaha, Neb.

Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church, Horatio, with Fred Smith officiating under direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.
