Kerry Wayne Moore, 65, of Hooks, Texas, died Thursday, July 10, 2008, in Galveston, Texas.

Mr. Moore was born June 9, 1943, in Paris, Texas. He was director of food services with Texarkana College, a member of First Baptist Church, Hooks, and a Vietnam War Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Moore of Hooks; three daughter and two sons-in-law, Robin and Shane Colley of El Dorado, Ark., and Melanie and Michael Birthright and Kerianna Moore of Texarkana; one sister, Gailya Moore of Texarkana; three grandchildren, Anderson Colley, Lilyan Birthright and Victoria Colley; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Roy Ford officiating. Burial will be in Ringwood Cemetery, New Boston, Texas.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
