NEW BOSTON, Texas—Lucretia Elizabeth “Pat” Lewis, 77, of New Boston died Thursday, July 10, 2008, in a Texarkana hospital.

Mrs. Lewis was born Sept. 27, 1930, in Houston, Mo. She was a homemaker, a Baptist, and a former Worthy Matron of Eastern Star No. 626, Texas City, Texas.

Survivors include her husband, John Lewis of New Boston; one son, John Patrick Lewis of Dickinson, Texas; two daughters, Brenda Lewis of Oregon City, Ore., and Connie Lewis of Grapevine, Texas; three sisters, Hazel Hicks, Erma Gaddy and Joyce Slatner; two brothers, Robert Miller and Moe Miller; two grandsons; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Bates-Rolf Funeral Home with Ken Cox officiating. Burial will be in College Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
