ATLANTA, Texas—Weldon Holland, 90, of Atlanta died Friday, July 11, 2008, in Atlanta.

Mr. Holland was born Jan. 3, 1918, in Texas. He was a member of Open Door Baptist Church and a World War II Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Florence Holland of Atlanta; five stepdaughters, Joice Moorhouse and Joann Sullivan of Atlanta, Elouise Pruitt and Madeline Lake of Colorado and Beverly Elliott of Brownwood, Texas; one sister, Melba Hendrix of Rayville, La.; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Hanner Funeral Service with the Revs. Joe Strebeck and James Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
