HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Bonnie Lee Caperton, 76, of Hughes Springs died Friday, July 11, 2008, in a Longview, Texas hospital.

Mrs. Caperton was born April 6, 1932, in King Junction, Ark. She was a member of Missionary Baptist Church, Hughes Springs. She was preceded in death by her husband, William.

Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Brenda Sue and Mike Nix and Tina and Terry Immel of Hughes Springs; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Sput Caperton of Hughes Springs and David and Kitsy Caperton of Dallas; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Jere Moffett of Morgan City, La.; nine grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Hughes Springs Missionary Baptist Church with the Revs. Tommy Estes and Larry Neeley officiating. Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
