MARSHALL, Texas—Oma Faye Beene, 75, of Marshall died recently.

Mrs. Beene was born April 10, 1933, in Dotson, Ark. She was a retired elementary school teacher and a member of Eastern Hills Church of Christ, Marshall. She was preceded in death by her husband, Williams Martin Beene; one daughter, Lisa Hill; and one grandson, Jacob Hill.

Survivors include one daughter, Kathy Dean of Marshall; one son, Bill Beene of Marshall; two sisters, Joan Weiss of Fort Worth, Texas, and Ava Walston of Nashville, Ark.; one brother, Bob Hicks of Hope, Ark.; one granddaughter, Rachel Boyd of Marshal; one great-granddaughter, Alisa Boyd of Marshall; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Eastern Hill Church of Christ with Bill Beene, Rick Tackett, Scott Weiss, David Tackett and Brett Weiss officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery, McCaskill, Ark., under direction of Downs Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today a the funeral home.
