Dr. Carlos J. “Doc” Alexander, 96, of Texarkana, Texas, died Monday, July 14, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Alexander was born June 9, 1912, in Ironton, Mo. He was a retired dentist and a World War II Army and Medical Corps veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Alexander of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at East Funeral Home, Moores Lane, with Louis Smith officiating. Entombment will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
