LITTLE ROCK—Anna Marie Hamilton-Fontana-Schmelzer, 60, of Hope, Ark., died Friday, July 11, 2008.

Mrs. Hamilton-Fontana-Schmelzer was born May 28, 1948, in Madison, Wis. She was a licensed practical nurse and a member of Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church, Hope. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Grant Hamilton; and one son, Benjamin D. Hamilton.

Survivors include three daughters, LaDonna Hamilton-Stueart of Prescott, Ark., LaShelle Hamilton of Bartlett, Tenn., and LaToya Hamilton of Hot Springs, Ark.; one daughter-in-law, Denese Hamilton of Loganville, Ga.; her mother, Mary Schmelzer of Madison; three brothers, John Schmelzer and Gary Schmelzer of Oregon, Wis., and Michael Schmelzer of Universal City, Texas; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; and a number of other relatives.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Cothran Chapel CME Church, Prescott, under direction of Rosewood Cremation.
