ALICE BETTS

NAPLES, Texas—Alice Florence Betts, 80, of Naples died Tuesday, July 15, 2008, in an Omaha, Texas, nursing home.

Mrs. Betts was born Dec. 9, 1927, in Atlanta, Texas. She was retired manager of Brown’s Hitch Rail, Naples, and a member of First Baptist Church, Naples. She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyse W. “Red” Betts.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Donna Betts and Larry and Beverly Betts of Naples; five sisters, Dorothy Morris and Barbara Dick of Cheney, Kan., Evelyn McKee of Omaha, Louise Nettles of Brookhaven, Miss., and Opal Helton of Humble, Texas; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church, Naples, with Dr. R.L. Hammonds officiating. Burial will be in Meadowview Cemetery under direction of Harrison Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Relatives will be at the home of David and Donna Betts, Naples.
