BEATRICE DOUGAN

PRESCOTT, Ark.—Beatrice Otwell Dougan, 91, of Prescott died Monday, July 14, 2008, in a Prescott nursing home.

Mrs. Dougan was born Sept. 4, 1916, in Emmet, Ark. She was a homemaker and a member of Prescott Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Lee Dougan; one son, Charles Lee Dougan; and two grandsons, John David Dougan and Donnie Joe “D.J.” Dougan Jr.

Survivors include seven sons, Penny Dougan, Johnnie Dougan, Donnie Dougan and Tim Dougan of Prescott, Archie Dougan of Traskwood, Ark., Richard Dougan of El Dorado, Ark., and Ronnie Dougan of Palm Bay, Fla.; two daughters, Susie Dougan of Prescott and Anita Foster of Sutton, Ark.; one sister, Edith Garner of Camden, Ark.; 24 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Prescott Church of Christ with Harley Sisson, Paul Robison and Lynn Vanderveer officiating. Burial will be in Snell Cemetery under direction of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home.
