WILLIAM PHILLIPS

DE QUEEN, Ark.—William Henry Phillips, 71, of Texarkana, Texas, died Tuesday, July 15, 2008, in Texarkana.

Mr. Phillips was born Feb. 19, 1937, in De Queen. He was a mail handler for the Postal Service and a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Binnicker Phillips of Texarkana; two daughters and one son-in-law, Erin Marie Phillips and Emily Ann and Ben Jones of Texarkana; one son, William Henry Phillips Jr. of Huntsville, Ala.; one brother, James Phillips of Morgan Hill, Calif.; and one grandson, Nigel Phillips.

Private services will be at Redmen Cemetery under direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.
