Avery Marion Powell, 46, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, July 8, 2008, in a local hospital of injuries received in an automobile accident.

Mr. Powell was born Oct. 15, 1961, in Odessa, Texas.

Survivors include his father, Luther Powell of Joshua, Texas; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Justin Pinson of Bryan, Texas, and Claude and Peggy Suginer and Audrey Suginer of Cleburne, Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, Deli and Lee Brown of Joshua; and two special friends, Bill and Carolyn Pelfrey of Texarkana.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at New Covenant Life Ministry with Pastor Lanny Spruill officiating under direction of Moore’s Funeral Home.
