Billy J. Anthony, 70, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, July 11, 2008, in a local nursing home.

Mr. Anthony was born Oct. 2, 1937, in Texarkana. He was a retired cement finisher.

Survivors include two stepsons, Jamarl Haley and Rorye Haley of Texarkana; one daughter, Danita Jones of Highland, Calif.; and two sisters, Elizabeth A. Anthony and Gloria J. Anthony Gibson of Texarkana.

Memorial services will be 3 p.m. today at Richardson Hill Funeral Home with the Rev. Mary Northcross officiating.
