MOUNT PLEASANT, Texas—Clinton Dillard, 54, of Mount Pleasant died Sunday, July 13, 2008.

Mr. Dillard was born June 22, 1954, in Mount Pleasant. He was a member of Cottrell Chapel CME Church and a Navy veteran.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jason and Jane Dillard of Mount Pleasant and Jarvis Hill of Virginia; his parents, Marshall Joe and Vernis Dillard of Mount Pleasant; two brothers, Mark Dillard of Houston and Barry Dillard of Mount Pleasant; two sisters, Sheila Griffith of Vacaville, Calif., and Kym Harris of Houston; two grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Cottrell Chapel CME Church with the Revs. L.C. Bell Jr. and Shawn Bronson officiating. Burial will be in the Dillard family private plot under direction of Tumey Mortuary.
