MILLINGTON, Tenn.—Dixie Mcfarland Jeter, 100, of Texarkana, Texas, died Thursday, July 17, 2008, in Texarkana.

Mrs. Jeter was born May 7, 1908, in Memphis, Tenn. She was retired and a Methodist.

Survivors include one daughter, Dixie J. Wright of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives.

Memorial services will be 3 p.m. today at Cornerstone Retirement Community, 4100 Moores Lane. Services will be 4 p.m. Sunday at Embury Methodist Church, Millington, under direction of Munford Funeral Home.
