NEW BOSTON, Texas—Dorothy Charlene Stone, 80, of Casa Grande, Ariz., died Wednesday, July 16, 2008, in Plano, Texas.

Mrs. Stone was born Jan. 18, 1928, in Horatio, Ark. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Stone; and one grandson, Robert England.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Dan Whiteside of Casa Grande and Carol and B.W. Gentry of Tyler, Texas; one sister, Velma Lewis of Austin; two granddaughters, Vicki DeAnda of Plano, Texas, and Heather Gilginas of Woodland Park, Colo.; five great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Bates-Rolf Funeral Home with Ken Cox officiating. Burial will be in Center Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
