LINDEN, Texas—Linda Peterson, 54, of Linden died Wednesday, July 16, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Peterson was born Nov. 27, 1954, in Linden. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Yvonne Peterson, Ramona Peterson and Thelesha Peterson of Linden; two sisters, Diane Talton of Linden and Jennifer Johnson of Virginia Beach, Va.; two brotheres, Terry Johnson and Morrison Johnson of Linden; one special friend, Arthalean Webster; five grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev. R.A. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery under direction of Linden Funeral Home.

Viewing will be noon to 5 p.m. with visitation 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
