Nathaniel Paxton, 57, of Ashdown, Ark., died Saturday, July 12, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mr. Paxton was born Nov. 13, 1950, in Ashdown. He was a member of Community Freewill Baptist Church, Ashdown, and an Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Mae Bell Paxton of Ashdown; two sons, Lavar Paxton of Texarkana and Steven Rhodes of Tollette, Ark.; one daughter, Catrina Mitchell of Lancaster, Texas; one brother, Willie Walton of Phoenix; four sisters, Linda Easter of Little Rock and Ardella Williams, Betty McKinney and Mable Walton of Phoenix; five grandchildren; and a ...
