Shearman Robert, 56, of Texarkana, Ark., died Saturday, July 12, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mr. Robert was born Feb. 23, 1952, in Roswell, N.M. He was a member of St. James Episcopal Church Brotherhood and an Air Force veteran.

Survivors include one sister, Sallie Robert of Little Rock; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. James Episcopal Church with the Rev. Douglas Anderson officiating. Burial will be Calvary Cemetery under direction of East Funeral Home, Downtown.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
