HOPE, Ark.—Jessie Mae Moody, 86, of Hope died Thursday, July 17, 2008, in Hope.

Mrs. Moody was born Sept. 8, 1921, in Ouachita County, Ark. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Moody.

Survivors include four daughters and two sons-in-law, Louise and Lewis Elliott of Dallas, Kathleen and Charles Sandifer, Karleen Hunt and Jeanette Trusty of Hope; one brother, James Wright of Hope; one special friend, Joyce Duke of Hope; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home. Burial will be in Huckabee Cemetery, Evening Shade, Ark.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
