MILDRED ELLIS

NAPLES, Texas—Mildred Geneva Ellis, 88, of Naples died Saturday, July 19, 2008, in an Omaha, Texas, nursing home.

Mrs. Ellis was born June 11, 1920, in Naples. She was a retired lab technician at David Granberry Memorial Hospital and a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Sharon Jennings.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Mack Ellis; one brother and sister-in-law, Benny and Mary Minton of Naples; two sisters and brother-in-law, Ginny Daniel and Dorothy and Charles Johnson of Naples; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church with the Revs. Barry Brown and Earl Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery under direction of Harrison Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today a the funeral home.
