HOPE, Ark.—Marcelles Magett, 49, of Hope died Monday, July 14, 2008, in Hope.

Mr. Magett was born June 5, 1959. He was formerly employed with Southern Bakery and an Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Webster Magett of Hope; one daughter, Karen Grant of Akron, Ohio; his parents, Velma Terrell-Richardson of Hope and Fred and Nettie Magett of Chicago; one brother, Ansaun Magett of Beaver Springs, Mich.; eight stepchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Brandon’s Mortuary with the Rev. Benny Kingsby officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Nashville.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
