MURFREESBORO, Ark.—Victor Alvin Miller, 88, of Murfreesboro died Sunday, July 20, 2008, in a Hot Springs, Ark., hospital.

Mr. Miller was born Oct. 16, 1919, in Phoenix, Ariz. He was a retired construction superintendent and a World War II Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary G. Miller; and one daughter, Vicki Wylie.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, William Dewey of Lisa Miller of Athens, Texas; two grandchildren, Rachel Ann Miller and Abram Ross Wylie IV; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 1 p.m. today at Latimer Funeral Home with Freeman Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Center Point Cemetery.
