HOPE, Ark.—Lois Kitchens Lumpkin, 80, of Hope died Saturday, July 19, 2008, in a Texarkana hospital.

Mrs. Lumpkin was born Jan. 22, 1928, in Gurdon, Ark. She was retired from Cal-Maine, a homemaker, a former member of Eastern Star and a member of Hope Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, James R. Lumpkin of Hope; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Mary Lucille Pittman of Lake Charles, La., Paula and Michael Loibner of Rison, Ark., and Lois Eileen and Larry Lee of Texarkana; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home with Craig Loibner and Lanis Lindsey officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hedge Cemetery, Gurdon, Ark.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
