BROKEN BOW, Okla.—Adell Nix, 92, of Oak Hill community, Okla., died Tuesday, July 22, 2008.

Mrs. Nix was born April 1, 1916, in Allen, Okla. She was a homemaker and preceded in death by her husband, Marion Nix; one son, Bobby Eugene Nix; and a grandson, William “Willie” Parker.

Survivors include one son and two daughters-in-law, William “W.D.” and Daisy Nix and Francis Nix of Broken Bow; one daughter and son-in-law, Faye and Leon Hunkapillar of Tishomingo, Okla.; one sister and brother-in-law, Leona and Albert Watkins of Broken Bow; one brother-in-law and his wife, Opal and Robbie Nix of Tishomingo; one sister-in-law, Corene Peterson of Vacaville, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 30 great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at First Assembly of God Church with Stan Miller officiating. Burial will be in Hochatown Cemetery under direction of Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
