Charlotte Ann Rehkopf Scott, 83, of Texarkana, Texas, died Tuesday, July 22, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Scott was born Aug. 17, 1924, in Pine Bluff, Ark. She was a homemaker, member of Wadley Auxiliary and Northwood Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by one husband, H.C. Rehkopf.

Survivors include her husband, Walter Scott of Texarkana; six daughters, Linda Mabry of Wake Village, Texas, Lanida Hackett-Kuzmich of Denver, Christina Walker, Connie Smith and Genie Whitt of Texarkana and Jerry Allen of Gilmer, Texas; one son, Henry Rehkopf Jr. of Texarkana; two stepsons, Johnny Scott and Jeff Scott of Texarkana; one stepdaughter, Rita Cooksey of Texarkana; one brother, Dubby Albright of Huron, Ohio; one sister, LaNell Johnson of Pine Bluff; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Chapelwood Funeral Home with Henry Rehkopf Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

The family will be at the home of Walter Scott, 6719 West 7th Street, Texarkana, TX 75501.
