IDABEL, Okla.—James Lester Morgan, 68, of Foreman, Ark., died Monday, July 21, 2008, in Ashdown, Ark.

Mr. Morgan was born Feb. 7, 1940, in Winthrop, Ark. He was a diesel mechanic, attended Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by one son, James Wesley Morgan; and one granddaughter, Yvette Sullivan.

Survivors include three sons, Steven Brown of Foreman and Al Austin and Ricky Austin of Winthrop, Ark.; five daughters, Gail Gorman of Texarkana, Tammy Tallant of Foreman, Tonya Fawcett of Winthrop, Terssa Finch of Clarksville, Texas, and Dena Armstrong of New Orleans; one brother, Joel Morgan of Rockwall, Texas; two sisters, Nelda Hess and Veta Bryan of Winthrop; three grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. today at Hayworth Cemetery, Hayworth, Okla., with Jack Brown officiating. Burial will be under direction of Conley-White Funeral Home.
