IDABEL, Okla.—Mamie Beason, 90, of Broken Bow, Okla., died Tuesday, July 22, 2008, in Broken Bow.

Mrs. Beason was born Aug. 21, 1917, in Chicota, Texas. She was a homemaker, seamstress and member of the Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, V.P. Beason; two sons, Virgil Beason and Robert Beason; and one grandson, Darren Haltom.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Roy and Kay Beason of Nashville, Ark., and Bucky and Carolyn Beason of Hugo, Okla.; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Glenda Haltom, Florence and Max Curry of Midland, Texas, Lisa and Patrick Meaney of Del Ray Beach, Fla., and Sandra Mayfield of Paris, Texas; 18 grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Conley-White Funeral Home with Lee Mussett and Thomas Cockerham officiating. Burial will be in Forest Chapel Cemetery, Chicota.
