William Arthur Carroll, 91, of Texarkana, Ark., died Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Carroll was born Dec. 15, 1916, in Buckner, Ark. He was a member of the Nazarene Church and a World War II Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Carroll; one son, Charles Carroll; and one daughter, Sandra Grammer.

Survivors include his wife, Amy Carroll of Texarkana; three sons, Wayne Carroll of Texarkana, Joe Carroll of Mosier, Ore., and Jimmy Carroll of Basset, Texas; three stepsons, Dale Dobbs of Los Angeles, David Dobbs of Dayton, Tenn., and Scotty Dobbs...
