GLADYS MURPHY

DE QUEEN, Ark.—Gladys Murphy, 85, of Houston died Friday, July 25, 2008, in a Houston hospital.

Mrs. Murphy was born Oct. 11, 1922, in Little River County, Ark. She was a cosmetics company sales representative and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Lynn Moore in 1966, and John D. Murphy in 1979.

Survivors include one son, Rick Moore of Houston; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Bethel Baptist Church, Ashdown, with Jim Harris officiating. Burial will be in Marvin Cemetery under di...
