MARILYN EVANS

Marilyn Burwell Evans, 83, of Texarkana, Texas, died Thursday, July 24, 2008, in a Bedford, Texas hospital.

Mrs. Evans was born Oct. 17, 1924, in Johnston City, Ill. She was a retired concert pianist, a music teacher and a member of Buchanan First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Dr. Eugene Burwell and Dr. Cecil Evans.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Ron and LeeAnn Evans of Texarkana; three daughters and one son-in-law, Camille and Mark Williams of Trophy Club, Texas, Cynthia Evans of Texarkana and Ellis...
