HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Newell Sartain, 67, of Lone Star, Texas, died Thursday, July 24, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Sartain was born March 25, 1941, in Alto, Texas. He was owner of Sartain Fluid Power, a former pilot and a member of East Texas Boot Scootin’ Club.
